Awards shortlist announced

The Baby Products Association (BPA) has announced the Baby and Nursery Trade Awards (BANTA) shortlist with a number of fabulous products in the running to win industry recognition at Harrogate International Nursery Fair this year.
Julie James, member and technical manager for the BPA, said: “These awards are only open to companies exhibiting at Harrogate and once again we had a huge amount of entries with the judges’ work cut out trying to pick those products that really stood out from the rest.”
Companies with shortlisted products have been contacted and asked to bring samples to a designated area at Harrogate International Nursery Fair on Saturday 19th March ready for judges to meet and make final decisions on Sunday. Julie continues: “All of the judges are nursery industry experts with many years collective experience. They will be looking at the products in terms of quality, value for money, market need and commercial viability and the winning products will be those that they consider will be ‘must haves’ in shops over the coming year.”
The winners of the BANTAs will be announced at the BANTA Awards Dinner at the Majestic Hotel on Sunday 20th March. This is a ticket only event and includes pre-dinner drinks (sponsored by Absolutely Mama magazine), a three course dinner with wine (sponsored by The Baby Show) and live entertainment from the fabulous band HUGE. The BANTAs are sponsored by Nursery Today magazine.
